Start

Ovobox deploys your static project in production. As soon as you upload your project it's immediately available via dev-link. It can be done:

  1. Via FTP client
  2. Using web interface
  3. Via IDE
  4. Via Gulp or Webpack

Authorize and create a new project by specifying its name and link before you download it. This way you will be able to work with project repository and API key.

Interface

Each project has its own maintenance panel, wich makes you able to:

  • Change project name and description and generate new API key
  • Watch requests and traffic usage analytics
  • Share the project to other users
  • Connect any domain quantity and SSL sertificates
  • Work with files (quick edit by web IDE, copy/move, download etc.)
  • Setup progect routing (for any html or json file accessible by readable link)
  • Use static variables

Files / Template engine

All .html и .json extention files may use template engine. For instance, to use GET options or insert snippets or user country code.

URL: https://your-project-domain?name=Alex

Code: Hello, {% get|name %}!

Output: Hello, Alex!

One more example:

Code: <script>var local="{% core_country_code %}";</script>

Output: <script>var local="US";</script>

Snippets

Duplicate parts of the code can be taken (rendered) into separate files. Or written as variables. For example, by creating the analytics_code variable, you can assign it the Googel Analytics code value and use it anywhere in the project by editing the code in the control panel. ТThus, it is possible to connect the codes of any third-party services without problems.

Wanna use your favorite IDE and console?

Ovobox allows you to edit project settings directly in your IDE.

All settings are recorded in JSON format and stored in the projects.json file, which is at the root of each project.

Note: The configuration file contains the value of api_key, but only for informative purposes. So if you need to generate a new API key, you can only do this using the control panel.
